The Northmark™ Pergola is built around a clear architectural geometry: a flat roof composed of transverse rafters, supported by vertical posts on one side and inward-leaning kaldpostid on the other. A continuous base frame anchors the structure, and a center support resolves longer spans.
Proportions are deliberate. Joints are precise. Nothing is decorative.

Materials and connections are specified for long-term exposure. Every detail is structural — finishing comes from precision, not ornament.
Engineered post & beam system.
Vertical posts and inclined kaldpostid form the load-bearing geometry. Continuous base frame and center support resolve span and stability.

The flat roof composition is built from transverse rafters set at consistent intervals — a calm, linear ceiling that registers light and shadow throughout the day.
Powder-coated steel & treated wood.
Surfaces selected for UV stability, moisture resistance, and visual longevity — the structure ages with consistency rather than wear.
Engineered for movement.
Connections are specified to absorb seasonal expansion, wind loading, and snow accumulation without fatigue. Hardware is concealed where possible.
